Option Profit Calculator is a free browser-based tool for estimating the profit, loss, breakeven price and ROI of call and put options. This policy explains what happens to information when you visit the site.
The calculator itself collects nothing
Every number you type into the calculator — strike price, premium, stock price, contracts, commissions — is processed entirely inside your own browser. Those values are never transmitted to a server, never logged and never stored. Closing the tab discards them. There is no account, no login and no user profile.
What is collected automatically
Like almost every website, this one uses third-party services that collect limited technical information:
- Google Analytics — aggregated statistics about visits: pages viewed, approximate location by country, device type, browser and how you arrived at the site. It is used to understand which pages are useful, not to identify individuals.
- Google AdSense — advertising is served on this website by Google and its partners.
- Server and caching logs — the hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address, timestamp and requested page, for security and performance.
Cookies and advertising
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site uses them for analytics and for advertising. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Children
This website is not directed at children under 13 and no information is knowingly collected from them.
Data security and retention
The site is served over HTTPS. Because calculator inputs are never received, there is nothing of that kind to retain or to lose. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s own retention settings.
