This page is for questions, feedback, corrections and suggestions about the option profit calculator. Reports of a wrong number are especially welcome — they get fixed.

Reporting a calculation problem

If a result looks wrong, please include enough detail to reproduce it:

• The option type and position (call or put, buy or sell)
• The strike price and the premium you entered
• The stock price at expiration and the number of contracts
• The commission you set, if any
• The result the calculator gave and the result you expected

With those six things a calculation can be checked in a minute. Without them it usually cannot be reproduced at all.
